Can the log file be saved to a log file with the same name as the Project Item that has just completed?  This would allow us to go back to the log file to determine if there were any issues, or to see when it was last run.

Hi,

The log file currently defaults to the <projectname>.log in the folder where the project file is.  When you open the project, you can open the log file by clicking on the Log icon in the project window toolbar (3rd icon from the left)  It is pr. execution of whatever was executed (whole project, project item, item, selected item, etc.)

Does this help?

Best regards,

This should have been obvious to me.  I had multiple projects create in one build automator file.  Once I seperated the projects into their own Build Automator file, then I have separate log files.

Hi Shane,

Would it be beneficial if there was an option to include the name of the project item in the log?  That way you would be able to see what project item was being executed.  As it is, the log is also overwritten each time you execute.  Would saving it, or appending to it be beneficial?  Other options?  I'm very much open to suggestions about the log:)

Best regards,
